January is Training Month!

January is training Month and we will be hosting some workshop along with Educational Series on the training we offer within our facility.

We encourage everyone to come to these FREE Events!

Saturday January 9th at 1pm – Dog Trainer Lisa Lillie – Got a puppy for the Holiday’s now what? Lisa will introduce you to best practices for raising a puppy under 6 months old. (no need to bring your puppy to this class, she will offer you hand outs on what your puppy is going through during the first stages of their life. Bring plenty of questions and see a demo of some very useful tips in working with your puppy at home)

Sunday – January 10th at 1pm – Dog Trainer Mike Poremba will offer a class around “how to teach your dog good leash manners”.

Friday January 15th at 7pm or Sunday January 17th at 1pm – Our Fur Salon Manager Kitty Weis will offer a workshop on how to keep your dog fresh between grooming’s.

Saturday, January 16th at 1pm – Dog Trainer Jeff Casanova will assess your dog’s manners and coach you toward a more well behaved dog.

Sunday, January 24th at 1pm – Trainer & Dog Behavior Specialist Cheryle Homuth will introduce you to what K9 Nosework this wildly popular new dog sport is all about! (We will offer four dogs a chance to demo this sport. Also, tools on what you can do at home with your pet to participate in this great dog sport) Call to sign up for this event. 815-675-3877

Sunday, January 31st at 1pm – Owner of Fur The Love of Dogs Carla Tammen will talk about is doggie daycare right for your dog? Find out if your dog will succeed in a social environment like doggy daycare. Learn about pack dynamics that exist when dogs come to daycare. (no dogs needed during this work shop please)
